Ths mornng "eye' splled coffee on my macbook pro's keyboard so "eye" turned t off and cleaned t as best "eye" could. Now the letter "eye" (sound t out stupd XP) doesn't work and the backlghts look lke they are dyng. To top t off, even though "eye" have the applecare protecton plan, Apple wll charge $600 to fx t. Bleh . . . Hurt.gif

HAHA APPLE USER I take that back because I'd be screwed if I did that to my laptop. ;_; I had to remember you have a Macbook, therefore you can't just buy a new keyboard [which would probably cost less amirite? but alas you had to go buy the sexy piece of hardware XD.gif]

Thnkng about gettng a separate keyboard for now just to get me along untl eye can afford to repar ths. Normally eye'd totally just take ths apart myself and fx the problem, but f eye do that now eye'll screw over the three years of warranty eye have left. Damn, couldn't crap lke ths happen to a less used key, lke "z"? Nooo, has to be a vowel . . .

Couldn't you just buy a USB keyboard and plug it in? Or is that yet another thing that you can't do with a Mac?

Well, i could, but i don't have one. if all the local repair places give me high rates i'll go out and find a cheap one. Damn, this is really sucking . . . .

I thought the same thing Slayer, however Mac keyboards are hard to come by apparently.

Yes, though I'm sure this goes without saying for someone like you Yvarg, make sure it's Mac compatible. :)
