So I got to thinking that I should probably get some more RTS games on PC to play, since I really liked the Command & Conquer series, specifically the Red Alert games.
I guess anything that has to do with Russia vs US (C&C), medieval/ancient times (Warcraft RTS games), or has a bit of craziness thrown in (think Red Alert, especially the superweapons)
I've heard that Civilization is fun, but I don't really know what that's like, aside from you can take over the world (I think). Being able to take over the world is always fun too. :Holy Crap:

Edit-Forgot to mention, they need to be somewhat modern (at least be able to run on Windows 7)

If you don't have StarCraft II, do yourself a favor and pick it up. Civilization is really fun and a total time sink. However, it's a TBS and not a RTS. The new one is supposed to be good, though I haven't played it myself. I also hear Total War: Shogun II is godly, but again, I haven't played it.

I tried the original Starcraft when it came out, and hated it. So I have my doubts about Starcraft II.
A friend actually recommended Shogun 2, so I might check that out.

Red Alert 3 is great, but you already mentioned playing those, so...
