Oh man, good read. Can't wait for this to ship.

I really should play this again lol, been caught up in a lot of other games.

Not sure if they mentioned it, but there are a lot of high level monsters walking around near the area's that you're in. Like level 70 and 80 high leveled lol. They will definitely attack you if given the chance. One of the early quests i had, i had to swim around to find the monster i had to kill, apparently i aggrivated a level 77 or so monster since right after i killed the enemy i saw some monster walking towards me and thought "oh hey, i wonder if thats a high level monster, i will try to lock on to it and see"

I didn't get a chance to lock on >.>. Also if you die after killing a monster, from what i have seen if they drop a chest the chest stays there after you die, so you can just run back and grab the chest. Yeah that relates to the last thing i said about high leveled monsters >.>.

Didn't know about the enemy attacking the highest attacking person though. I guess that would explain why the boss i was trying to get to his side and behind kept attacking me, i needed to use the side and behind attacks so i could get the party gauge up.

It also took me some time to find the fast travel, basically you can open the area map you're in to travel, or you can go all the way to the left i think it was and it gives you a list of all the area's you've been too and fast travel that way, for awhile i used the first option since i never really clicked on the world map or whatever option.

It's great. It's like they married old school RPG elements and MMO style gameplay into a smooth flowing, cinematic experience. The pacing after the first two hours is the best I've seen in any JRPG.

Only issue I have so far is that the camera can be a bit wonky. Other than that it is brilliant.

Yeah, the camera controls can be problematic with the Wiimote (haven't played with the classic controller yet), but after awhile, I started getting used to the controls. Now, I have no problems with the camera.

Walking through a field....giant level 81 monster just strolls on past. What.

Spending most of my time doing quests...can anyone clarify what the stopwatch means? I'm guessing that quest is timed or something.

I've gotta play this game again, still playing a lot of games at once haha

Checked an faq

You need to pay special attention to quests with a stopwatch icon. Once you
proceed too far in the story, you will be unable to complete those quests
.

So I discovered my Classic Controller is broken or something when I tried to use it to play Mario Kart Wii. :( Is there any difference between a Classic Controller and a CC Pro? Do they even make regular Classic Controllers anymore? I think I bought mine way back in like...2008, so it's very possible they don't. I kinda wanna buy a new one before I start Xenoblade, cause I don't really like using the wiimote/nunchuk.
