Dimensional cape seems to me like a projectile mirroring/blocking thing to me...

Maybe he does both... like, changes partway through or occasionally shows up as the Monkey Head. I doubt it, but I'd rather have the Monkey Head, too, so that's what I'm hoping for.

ALSO~ new assist trophy! ANDROSS. He appears as he did in the original Star Fox, and goes to the back of the stage much like Lugia and Ho-oh in Melee, and starts shooting these tiles/debris out at the players on the stage. "Only I have the brains to rule Lylat!"

I would prefer him as a boss character. I think that's where he'd fit better.

The SNES Andross would be kinda lame, I think. I'd much rather have the N64 Andross.

I don't know, you should check out the screenshots- looks kinda nifty to me. It's growin on me.

UPDATE!

Pokémon Trainer's Special moves!

When You're Squirtle:
Up + B = waterfall, and Squirtle looks awesome riding it
Side + B = Withdraw, where he withdraws and slides across the stage

When You're Ivysaur:
B = Bullet Seed, shoots seeds straight up into the air
Up + B = Vine Whip, which shoots a vine out to catch a ledge, etc

When You're Charizard:
B = Flamethrower. Enough said.
Side + B = Rock Smash. He picks up a rock and smashes it... ? I don't know how it works.

It seems like the blow Charizard creates with his head smashes the rock, which sends the debri forward. That's my guess, anyway.

Yeah I agree with LM except it probably won't shatter, but remain one large boulder

I think they'd call it "Strength" then, since "Rock Smash" breaks boulders in Pokémon games.

Ooh, the Pokémon moves look pretty good, but I think there was an error on the site. It said each had 3 special moves. Excluding the Down special move, Pokémon Change, shouldnt each Pokémon have 4? Standard, up, down, and side?

Nope - like they said on the site, the Down move switches Pokémon.

Down + B is usually the transformation combo so they would only have 3

EDIT: Gah! LM beat me to it XD.gif

I knew that, my bad, I was just kinda confused. I was counting side as two- left and right. I just had a brainfart.

New concept- gliding.

Characters with wings can do it, so that means so far Charizard, Meta Knight, and Pit.

Apparently it's activated after the midair jump, and you tilt the control stick to go in the direction you want. It's not flying, as you don't flap wings, but gliding- just a slow descent down.

You can't change direction though [if you're going left, you can't turn around and go right, vice versa], and if you're attacked, your flight is cancelled.

Sounds kinda like Peach's floating power... except less crazy. Sounds good to me.
