I heard about this tournament through LinkMaster and it sounds like fun. I'll be taking Fairy types for the fun of it.

I've been messing around with a team on Showdown and its shaping up pretty nicely. Just need to work out some of the kinks.

 

I'll visit this page daily to see how things are progressing. I hope to have a lot of fun with everyone!

The introduction of the Fairy type actually throws up the exact balance of the team from last time. I guess there's only one change in the lineup though, dropped Gallade for Alakazam. We'll see how that works out.

Couple of housekeeping questions for clarity:

 

• No multiple Mega Evolutions. Multiple Mega Stones?
• Do Form changes fall under the same rule as Mega Evolutions with regards to their typing? i.e. Can I use Castform as the Water Gym Leader? (not that that would be a good idea)
• Are all trapping abilities banned or just Shadow Tag? Because certain types (*cough* Magnet Pull *cough*) still have the possibility to get trapped without it. And there's Arena Trap as well.

 

I attempted to make my badge Kalos style. I think it turned out pretty good!

You can have multiple Mega Stones, but remember that you cannot change items once the tournament starts, and you'll essentially be wasting an item slot as a result. I recommend not doing so, but I'm not going to ban it.

Castform is not going to count as a Fire, Ice, or Water type. If the Sun/Hail/Rain goes away, Castform reverts, I believe. That means it will no longer be following the rules.

As for Magnet Pull and Arena Trap, I'm not sure. I kinda forgot about those. I'm leaning towards banning those as well, since obviously Magnet Pull against your team would mean no switching whatsoever until you knock out the Pokémon. Arena Trap is a little bit more bearable, but... I dunno. Anyone else have thoughts on these? We never really addressed them in previous tournaments.

I like your badge - it looks awesome! And I'm also glad you picked Aegislash as your avatar, since he's awesome as well.

Mega Gardevoir. Might as well wear my strategies on my sleeve. She's in my signature already anyway, it's not a surprise who the mega is (though I did consider leaving out ambiguous since I have three candidates, all decent choices).
