I'm just gonna hope this stays to Super Mario World (or, rather, Mario platformers in general), and they're only saying something about this since Super Mario Maker's coming out tomorrow.

So, at the Pokémon World Championships this year, a couple of people from Iowa decided to attend.  The problem is that they were planning to shoot up the place.

Fortunately, the police got a head start since the idiots decided to advertise their plans on social media, so thankfully, nobody was injured or killed.

Honestly kinda scary, though, since the Boston Marathon bombing is still relatively recent (hell, the trial for it wasn't that long ago).  I was also considering going there to spectate, since Boston isn't stupidly far away from me, which perhaps makes this hit me a bit harder than it otherwise would have.  But, like I said, thankfully nobody was shot.
