Just realized there wasn't a thread on this...

http://www.swtor.com/

I usually hate MMO's...but with the KotOR lineage to this it seems appealing.

If I had the money for a monthly fee, I'd totally get this.

There is a whole debate going on about that right now. There may not be monthly fees...but who knows.

Also, HK-47 is strongly hinted at being the only character to return. Any others would be in the form of descendants.

If there wasn't, then definitely. However, if it manages to come out for the 360 (which is the only way I could play it), I wonder if having Gold Membership would matter (as that is a monthly fee). We'll have to see.

I'll definitely play this if there isn't a monthly fee, though really I doubt I have the time for it.

I absolutely loved that cinematic. The scale of it all was simply mindblowing.

Okay, if I didn't want this game before, this definitely pushed me over the edge into desire:

http://www.swtor.com...nematic-trailer

Also, two new classes: The Jedi Knight (surprise!) and the Imperial Agent (the Sith Empire's spy, basically). That makes it 3 classes for each side. So far, only humans have been shown as playable characters, but I doubt they'll stop with one race.

I really hope we get to play as Rodians. They are one of the most well known races so it is likely...

Here is a list of all the known races in the game...however not sure which will be playable.

* Bith
* Chagrian
* Chevin
* Dashade
* Evocii
* Gamorrean
* Gand
* Gran
* Human
* Hutt
* Ithorian
* Jawa
* Kaleesh
* Kel Dor
* Kitonak
* Kubaz
* Mon Calamari
* Nautolan
* Neimodian
* Nikto
* Ortolan
* Rakata
* Rodian
* Selkath
* Sullustan
* Togruta
* Trandoshan
* Twi'lek

No Cathar? Dang. Oh well. If I can, I'll probably be a Twi'lek Jedi Knight (from the trailer, it looks like Twi'leks are probably playable).

Not yet at least....thats just what we can see in the various videos.

Just curious, which subspecies of Cathar were you interested in? The big cats or the more humanlike ones?

I like the big cat ones. The humanoid ones (like Juhani) look kinda weird.

Bothan would be a cool race as well, though whether they put that in remains to be seen. If Cathar and Bothan aren't available, I'll shoot for Twi'lek or Selkath.
