So it seems even the Pokémon world is going through a recession, and is having to combine/make cuts in business. lol
Anyway, the graphics do look snazzy. But I honestly hope they spruce up the battle system a bit more (like holding A to pull up the attack info instead of navigating to the Pokémon list, more attack movement and less static sprites, etc.), because even though it's fun, it's still dated as hell.

With an exception being the "permanent" members of my team, I think I might change up my nickname scheme for these games. Instead of Decepticons I may start using various Super Heroes and Villains.

Every once in a while, I think of a nickname that I like better than what I have for a Pokémon. Scizor, for example. I used to have Lancelot for males, but I couldn't think of a good female name. Now, though, males are Siegfried and females are Hilde, both in honor of SoulCalibur.

There are silhouettes of the new starters on Serebii. ...Not that it helps a whole lot, but there it is.
Looks like a lizard/bird of sorts, a mole/rabbit(?), and some kind of cat/rodent.
