Dropped Journalism because I don't want to write like that again. Writing like a journalist is It's a trap!, I'm not gonna go through all that unless I get published, and the circulation for the paper is so low already that it's no use.
Gonna gun for an open spot in Creative Writing, which I took last semester. Thing is, I have to start hunting the day everyone's tuition is due, which is January 2nd at 4pm.
At 4pm, the computer drops whoever did not pay. Now, there's almost a 99% chance at least one person will drop because they forgot to pay. I'm hinging on that chance.
I don't want to write like that, nor will I ever again on my own free will.
Wish me luck.

I agree - I took a Journalism course this past semester and had to write in AP style. It was such a pain, but somehow I managed to get an A in it.
Still, have fun with CW.

I've had experience writing in it in High School- not the best experience, garnered a B. That teacher and I did not get along, haha.
Thanks both of you

Alright, so a spot opened up as I was surfing into the wee hours of the morning. I haven't had internet for the longest time, and even if it's my neighbor's, I'm savoring it as long as I can.
Anyway, like I said, spot opened up but I can't place my own yet- the school website has routine maintenance every morning, so I think at about 5 HST it'll be ready. Only about 45 minutes or so.
In other words, no hunting/waiting on the 2nd!
edit- got it, time to pay.
