The KG Box is moving on up to the newer standards for web design. The consequence of this decision may result in inconsistencies between browsers, which will need to be adjusted so that all browsers may have a similar appearance. What I need to know from our current member populace is which browsers I should focus compatibility on first.

Currently, the new design specified in the official KG Box topic is compatible with Fire Fox and Chrome. There's a chance that it is also compatible with Safari (since Chrome shares Safari's engine), and IE7, but I have not had the chance to test it on those browsers.

The new design IS NOT compatible with IE6... and unless people demand for it to work on that browser, will remain as such.

I am currently using Firefox now, and the design is very nice too.

Excellent results so far.

Here's the new design in action. Please bear in mind that most of the links are still tied into the original layout to prevent anything from breaking.

I should also point out that the large collection of KG Spriter tags was just part of me testing the layout. This list is not dynamic, and will not update should anyone publish something. All of that magic will happen soon enough, don't you worry.

I use Firefox but I also use chrome from time to time for a change. I think I like the design better, but its way more unstable than Firefox.

Definitely Firefox for me (at least until a mac version of Chrome is released); not that I matter in this poll because I don't even know what the hell this "KG box" thing is . . .

The KG Box

There's a link in my signature too. There's a topic of it in the Art forum.

The KG Box is a publication portal to express and expose our collective talents. It's a website that I created for everyone here, publicly viewable by the world. Once this site starts rolling, I will open its doors for submissions from the world too.

I never found Safari to be too bad; it's certainly better than Internet Explorer. XP

Not at all the case for me. There's a few flash sites that are a bit iffy, but flash sites are hellish anyways. Firefox totally crashed for me 2-3 times a week when I used it regularly, and even if something goes wrong with Chrome, it'll only close one tab as they are treated as separate processes.

Plus Chrome is way faster.

It stopped working with Firefox just now, for some unexplained reason.

Apparently it works just fine on Safari... I tried it out on my lady's shiny new Mac Book. Sometimes browsers have these brain farts and sort of abort laying out the page - this is true with any site with complex layouts. Interner Explorer and Fire Fox have both done this to me many times in the past. You'll have to explain what you mean by it "not working", perhaps by taking a screen shot of what you see.
