WHAT YOU NEED
I got the AV cable at the dollar store. For one dollar. The capture card I linked to is really low end, you can spend anywhere from 10 bucks to 100 bucks on one, the thing about the $20 one that I bought was that it didn't work and I had to go hunting online for a driver that worked. I can upload it here if anyone needs it.
Now do this stuff.
Flash Media Encoder
and you'll need to make an account here
and download the justin.tv config file for FME
You should be able to figure out what to do from there. If anyone needs further help just ask and I can update the guide about how to use the software, but I'm assuming you'll be able to figure it out.

My thoughts are that I record my voice via my webcam and my gaming via the recording software, then mesh them together in Windows Movie Maker or something. Can I do that? Or do I need some other video editing software?

Also use ustream, it's better than justin.tv.
