My favorite is still VI (released as III in the US for Super NES). The characters are awesome, and each has his/her own unique story that is well put together. The plot is great. It also has one of the most memorable (and hated) villains ever: Kefka. I've recently played III (the real III), which is also awesome, but not quite up there (too short).

Tough choice, really. I like III for DS, it's great and I enjoy the class system. Then again, X is also great. VII too.

Ultimately I say X is my favorite I guess.

VIII is my favorite, but VI is the best.


VII is the worst piece of crap I have ever played.

I thought VII was pretty cool, but it was really over-hyped by the SPLOS (Society of People who Love Oversized Swords).

I really enjoyed X and VIII, and VII was cool too. FFA was horrible, in my opinion. I haven't really played many of the other games though.

VIII and X for a tie. Both are extrodinary games in their own rights, and are some of the my favorite games of all time.

Honorable metions go to FF IV (released as II in the US, I believe) and VII. I don't care what anyone says. I really liked VII, despite it being horrendously overrated.

Hmm. I liked VIII, X, and XII best. They all had great characters and story lines. I haven't played VII, but I love it anyways. 8 was aww, 10 was awwwww and had Seymour, and XII was extremely fun. So I can't just pick one.

Tactics Advance. Incredibly long and deep, and a great challenge.

I've only played a few, so I have to say that Final Fantasy III is my favorite. Its a game of unbridled joy.

I don't know. I played only Crystal Chronicles and XII and I ended up loving both.
