I'm just going to come right out and say it. The amount of people in the USA who THINK they know what the laws -should- be and are self-righteous Only YOU can prevent forest fires!es about it... Are FAR too many in number. The amount of times I've heard ANY amendment being used as a justifying excuse for stupidity is far too many times as well, let alone the fact that most don't seem to realize that the right to bear arms was because the goddamn British were more or less attacking them and trying to take down the settlers, so it bloody well made sense at the time. The american constitution REALLLLLLLY needs a good rewriting by a non-american.

Our laws are already made by non-Americans, and they'd love to rewrite our Constitution. We call them politicians. The elite ones are called Congressmen, and they're guaranteed pension after at least on day of work (in the military it takes at least 20 years to earn a pension) so you can see how hard they think they should work.
