What really interests me is the little descriptions they wrote up for each faction. It's pretty much all made up but that is some neat little world building.

I agree, though I was a little miffed at Ganon being the king of Moblins (when reading about the Gerudo). Not that it doesn't make sense from a Ganon vs. Ganondorf perspective, but it caught me off-guard.

That first shot of the Gorons marching down the hill is what really sold me though.

I have to admit, I'm not much of a fan of Gorons in the games, but I'm looking forward to leading their army.
