I'm honestly hoping that Dampierre is going to show up. He was fun in Broken Destiny.

They won't cause sex sells (more to lonely teenagers than anything, really). Just about every fighting game does the same thing.

I know, but cripes. They sure know how to nudge the boundaries.

I'm thinking either Raphael or Kilik. Raphael's been slowly descending into madness, and Kilik seems to keep battling the darkness within him. Could be Talim, I suppose - she seems to know a lot about what's going on.

Dang, you people actually pay attention to the Soul Calibur stories? Hopefully 5 will be fun, never actually played Soul Calibur 4. Still gotta buy it eventually. I still like Talim from 2, she was my Air Juggler.

Well, I appreciate a good story, and the SC series happens to have a fairly decent one, especially for a fighting game.

Debut Trailer

It seems that the main character's gonna be that guy at the end (Patroklos, son of Sophitia) as opposed to an existing character. That might be interesting. Hope he's good. Pyrrha (Patroklos' sister) will also be playable.

SCV takes place 17 years after SCIV. Can't wait to see how some of the characters change. Voldo's gonna be 67 if he returns.

Oh, if you want to know where I got the additional information: Patroklos and Pyrrha.

Also, Siegfried.

Those 3 characters are the only confirmed ones so far, though there will be 26 characters, half of which are new.

EDIT: Sorry, keep finding more stuff. This will be out for PS3 and 360 again. The creators have hinted at some Final Fantasy characters. Let's hope that's the case.

Natsu - disciple of Taki (similar weapons)
Z.W.E.I. - man with a 3-handled sword (looks cool), can summon a wolf-like creature named E.I.N.

As always, Cervantes is rumored to return.
