Played the demo.
Will try the second playthrough, which has more content apparently.

I think the BuzzNav could be cool - it'll probably be more useful with the full game.
I hope so. Then again nothing could possibly be as annoying as the X/Y early 2000's style pop-ups on the lower screen.

PS: I have a Mega Gengar code for North America, and if I can't get it traded for a European one by the 26th, I'd be happy to give it to one of you, if you'd like to have it.
PPS: Because the 26th is the date by which the code becomes useless, FYI.

Well, more specifically the code is just for a shiny Gengar holding a mega stone. So you could just remove the mega stone if you didn't like it.
And to be perfectly honest I'm not really all that crazy about Mega Evolutions myself either, but I see them more as just another "Forme" like Giratina Origin and such. But I totally agree that it's kind of dumb how you now need a Mega to even compete. And more specifically you need one of several. (Kangaskhan, Mawile, Gengar and Garchomp really being the only ones I find worth anything) It changes the entirety of the strategy of the game to being about a team of a couple of support Pokémon and one or two Mega Evolutions. I don't think a defensive Mega is ever going to be viable at all because the offensive ones have such monstrous attacking stats. The no held item drawback really doesn't mean much when you have a Pokémon that attacks twice with every attack for example, completely negating tons of abilities and items.
I appreciated that the demo cuts to the chase and just shows you what you came for. The most important changes (all aesthetics) are right at the beginning.
