This is completely unsurprising! We were due for the year's Pokémon announcement anyway and it was either this or X2/Y2/Z or some such, and it's been long enough that it's time to milk R/S for their worth.

That said, R/S/E is probably my favorite gen, and the one I have the most clear, fond memories of, so this is still exciting, even if Kyogre looks kinda weird in the cover art. Wonder if this'll come with a few Mega Evolutions of more 3rd Gen pokes.

Also I wonder if we will get a new protagonist replacing Brendan or May like we did with HGSS?

Not surprised that Sceptile and Swampert got Megas. I like the redesigns, from what I can see in the scans.
