Throwing up is very much not-fun.
Especially when you throw up hard enough that it comes out your nose, and then you have to blow it a few times to get food remains out of your nasal cavity.

So, yeah... I had a lot of fun tonight, and I get to have a Physics test in half an hour. It had better be as easy a test as I think it will be... otherwise, this is going to be even less fun.

Tell you whats REALLY fun about throwing up sometimes.
Is when you have nothing to throw-up and your body keeps trying, then the chest starts to hurt and you can't breath. :\

Good luck in the physics test, just did all my tests recently.

Dry heaves? Yeah, I had plenty of fun with that, too.

Luckily, the test was really easy (I probably could have taken it in high school), so I finished it in about 25 minutes... after learning that my 10:00 computer graphics class has a quiz as well today. Joy.

Me too... after all, not getting better is kind of a bad alternative.

I should be able to basically sleep until Monday, so it should be better by then, maybe.

You know what the most fun ever, EVER is? Having lots of mucus stuck in your throat all the time such that the only time you can speak clearly is when you really don't need to. Then comes exams where as little disturbance as possible is needed, which is usually when it builds up the most thus causing excessive throat clearing or great discomfort.

Then having the doctor tell you that you must be a hypochondriac because the one time you get an appointment, the problem disappears. Then it comes back and this time its friend weird itchy red private parts rash shows up at which point you have to take a piss sample and get yourself tested for diabetes. So after a while you find out it was nothing but not before avoiding the opposite sex due to such activities with them ending in pantless state and in this instance, a great disgust and possible accusations of you having picked up an STD.

Not that the last bit happened...to my friend. Yes.

Was it stress induced, or were you actually sick? The exact same thing happened to me the night before the first day back to school, complete with the dry heaves. From what I can surmise out of the situation, I literally "popped" the cork out of my bottle of pent up emotions.

Hope you get better.

If you're asking Phaeon that question, I can almost guarantee that it's actual sickness. Neither of us have really had nerve sickness.

Definitely normal sick. I certainly wouldn't be nervous about that physics test, for one thing. For the other, I'm still clogged with snot, am really cold, and hate the touch of metal or water.

Probably a cold or something, plus stomach flu for fun.

No, I'm pretty sure I'd still be throwing up in that case.

Possibly.

"The symptoms of 2009 H1N1 flu virus in people include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue."

Most people apparently also have diarrhea and vomiting, but I'd get it double checked if I had your symptoms - just to make sure. You probably don't have it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry if I was in your state.

Even if I do have it... does it matter? I'd still have to just lie around and do nothing all day - which is what I'm doing anyway, so...

Well, you can get a vaccine. Getting better sooner is a good thing.
